For many, the words ‘Confirmation Classes’ may call up memories of long boring lessons and uncountable pages of memory work. Times and teaching methods have changed significantly.
While this is still a 30 session course introducing the fundamentals of the Christian Faith for early teens (usually in year 8), there is much more interaction, use of audio visual aids, mentoring and support by family and friends, all designed to help discover God’s love and plan for their lives.
At Langmeil, the course culminates in a celebratory worship service of Confirmation where the young person is invited to publicly confirm their faith.
